Plumber website design that turns searches into booked jobs
We design and build websites for plumbers and heating engineers — fast on mobile, easy to find locally, and set up to turn searches into booked jobs. Bedford-based, working UK-wide.
plumber website design
A plumber's website has two jobs: be found when someone nearby searches for a plumber, and make calling you the obvious next step once they land. In practice that means fast pages on a phone, your number visible without scrolling, your Gas Safe registration on show, and a separate page for each service you want more of — boiler installations and bathrooms, not just emergency call-outs. We build the site and handle the local SEO that puts it in front of people searching in your area.
Most plumbing websites were built once and then left alone. They load slowly on a phone, the number is buried on a contact page, and they say the same thing as every other plumber in town. Here is what we build instead, what it involves from you, and how long it takes.
Not sure where your site stands?
We'll check it against everything on this page and send you the gap list, whether or not you go ahead with us.
What's included in your plumber website
Every plumber website we build includes all of this as standard.
A mobile-first build — most people searching for a plumber are on a phone, and often in a hurry.
Click to call in the header on every page, so nobody has to hunt for your number.
A page per service, so boiler installation, bathroom fitting and underfloor heating can each rank on their own.
Your Gas Safe number displayed where customers look for it, alongside OFTEC or HETAS if you hold them.
A quote form that asks the right questions up front, so you are not ringing back for the basics.
Service area pages for the towns you actually cover, which is where local search is won.
Your own photographs, compressed properly so they do not slow the site down.
Why a plumbing website is different
Plumbing has one feature most trades do not, and it shapes the whole site: you are selling to two customers who behave nothing alike.
no menus, no forms, no scrolling.
How we build websites for plumbers
Four stages, the same on every project, so you always know what happens next.
Discover
We look at what you do, which jobs you want more of, and what the plumbers ranking above you are doing differently.
Design
Wireframes first, then the full design. You sign off on the structure before anyone builds anything.
Build
A fast WordPress site you can update yourself, tested on real phones on a real connection.
Grow
Local SEO, Google Business Profile and content, so the site keeps bringing work in after launch.
Rather talk it through first?
A short call, no pitch deck, just working out whether you need a rebuild or a few fixes.
What we need from you
Less than most people expect. The build does not stall waiting on you.
An hour at the start to talk through your services and the work you want more of.
Photographs of recent jobs. If you do not have any, we will tell you exactly what to photograph.
Your Gas Safe number and any other registrations you hold.
One round of feedback on the design, and one on the finished build.
Who this is not for
Plenty of firms will sell you a five-page plumbing website for a few hundred pounds, and if that is what you want they will do it faster than we will. We build for plumbers who want the site to bring in boiler and bathroom work rather than sit there looking tidy, and that is a different job with a different price on it.
What plumbers ask us first.
It depends on scope. We'll always give you a clear, itemised quote before anything is agreed. What moves it most is how many services you want ranking on their own pages, how many towns you cover, and whether we are rebuilding or improving what you already have.
A plumbing website earns its keep when it is quick on a phone, easy to ring, and shows up when someone nearby searches for the work you want. That is what we build, and we will tell you straight if what you already have is closer to it than you think.
